It fixed the problem completely however I think it’s really stupid how you need this $20 plug to charge the kindle. I got it for free but still I had to go several days before I had normal use of my tablet back. The support person said it was created because of the issue with the kindles not charging however if that’s the case I feel like they should have started including them with the fires when you buy them.

and our echo dot is working great again. My son lost my original charger so I started using a charger we use for our phones. Our echo dot started acting up. Sometimes it wouldn’t play, it would turn off, it wouldn’t respond to requests, etc. After doing some research on it before tossing it out, I found out that there’s something about these chargers compared to a regular one — something or other about the power, watts, or something that I can’t remember. So I went ahead and ordered this one, and our echo dot is working great again.
